This position is for a highly motivated network specialist to build cloud based solutions using open source technologies in a rapidly evolving space. Our company is a well funded startup with offices in both Seattle and Palo Alto.

Responsibilities

You will develop and maintain our network architecture and roadmap, coordinate efforts with security team to ensure best practices, lead analyses of networking technologies in a rapidly evolving space, and create solutions to complex problems using agile development methodologies.

Requirements

• 4+ years in IT related fields designing and implementing complex network infrastructures.
• 2+ years experience in Python, Ruby, or Java.
• BS in computer or networking systems, or equivalent experience.
• Intimate knowledge of networking hardware.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, VLAN tagging, QinQ

Bonuses

• Experience working with open source projects and communities.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (OpenStack, AWS, etc.).
• Familiarity with OpenFlow and Open vSwitch.
